Dear forum!
I hope that you all had a tremendous Christmas and are enjoying your holidays!
I have an issue with one of my Proxmox VE servers (running version 6.3.2)
A few weeks ago, I installed a check_mk client on the server that is hosting my proxmox server. And since then, I am getting warning messages that all interfaces of the server are flapping (meaning, they are going down and up again, possibly multiple times). This seems to be related to the end of a backup job on the server that produces a backup of all VMs on this server.
Interestingly, I have another Proxmox VE with exactly the same version that does not show this behaviour.

Did anybody here encounter such a behaviour before or would anybody have a tipp where to start looking?

Thanks!
Norbert

Checking the syslogs for anything regarding the NICs at those times?

Also, consider updating the nodes as 6.3 is quite old already and with a newer kernel the behavior might be different.

Syslog only shows the flapping interfaces, nothing else.
i just updated the PROXMOX VE. Will need a few days to see whether this solved the issue.
thanks for the Tipp!

Good to hear :)

I went ahead and marked the thread as solved.
