[SOLVED] NIC not start when remove VGA card.

Hi All.

My Server have no VGA onboard, so I install PROXMOX 6.2 with Radeon old card. Everything work fine.

But when I remove VGA Card ( Radeon ) from M/B. And when PROXMOX is booting, the Network Interface Card not working.

I need to remove VGA card for reduce cost on server.

How can I solve this problem ?

Please help me.

After see log in /var/log/messages. I've got the cause & solution now.

Cause
- when remove VGA Card , PCI-E index of NIC has changed.
- NIC name is changed.

Solution
- Fix NIC Name. by doing this : https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/PredictableNetworkInterfaceNames/
- then remove VGA card.
- reboot again, and everything work fine.
