Nfs share and non-network connection.

Hello everyone, I wanted to expose not a real problem but a question about the cluster and nfs.

I have a cluster with 20 Vm distributed over 2 Nas through NFS.

Unfortunately, it happened that several times the Nas went en bloc and then restarted manually or brutally.

I noticed that the Proxmox cluster reports the absence of connection to NFs shares, but as soon as the connections are restored, the VMs left "hanging" continue to work regularly as if nothing had happened.

Is my question related to NFs, that is, the NFS server prevents corruption of data in case of blocking or is it the cluster that manages the integrity of VM disks that have suffered network absence?

Thank you

IO to an NFS share is blocked by the NFS client in case the NFS server does not respond.
Hello and thank you for responding. So I seem to understand that it is proxmox that no longer having the nfs connection active blocks the vm? Can the fact that all vms resume without any problem can be said that they do not have a risk of corrupt vm?
