NFS create storage failed: error with cfs lock 'file-storage_cfg'

Hello,

it's not the first time I have this problem.

With all Proxmox version it's the same problem.

I web interface, I create a NFS connection to a NFS server and if I remove it and recreate a new one with the same name he tell me << create storage failed: error with cfs lock 'file-storage_cfg' >>

Anybody know the solution ?

En mi caso, este error se nos ha presentado con la versión 6 de Proxmox. La solución ha sido escoger la versión 3 de NFS activando la casilla de Avanzado.

Les comento que tuve el mismo error, y lei y lei y volvi a leer infinidad de post y blog y paginas y ninguna daba nada en concreto,
Cual fue mi accion al final

revise los permisos del Proxmox y todo estaba bien
el NFS que tengo montado esta en un FreeNas y en la configuración del NFS en Avanzado los permisos a root no estaban habilitado o no tenia a root como usuario, agregue el usuario root, volvi a crear la unidad NFS en proxmox y funciono, sin mayores complicaciones, despues de haber hecho mil piruetas en el proxmox, y no era en el proxmox es el el servidor NFS que debes decirle que usuario a va trabajar en el NFS

I had the same issue, for some reason proxmox doesn't like the 755 set on the directory it wants 777 that's dangerous world writable.

It depends on what you are trying to share so in my case I was sharing a folder from 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:/cfsstor/backups <- Check permissions on the NFS Server Share and then also check on the Proxmox in the location of the share mount which should be similar to /mnt/pve/folder_here for some reason it wants world writable (very dangerous) but it got me past my issue. I hope this helps.
