[SOLVED] Nfs and performance on OVH

Hi

I new on PBS

I've created a backup machine on my cluster so I add a nfs on OVH ha but performance is very slow.

If I try to do a backup directly form node it takes more or less 5 min if I do the same on PBS it takes 1 hour.

Anyone has experience in this kind of issue?

Sever are on a vrack with 1 or 2 g it's connection

PBS requires local disks, preferabily SSD or at least ZFS+special device. PBS creates millions of files with the chunks of each backup. It does not give good performance on NFS, no even with a dedicated server. OVH NFS server is intended for sequential backups only and has low performance for anything else.
