Hi guys,
I have a lot of experience building and setting up normal desktops but turns out Servers are a whole other different animal after headache after headache... Who knew. Anyways.
I just recently bought a Dell R710 and installed Proxmox onto an SSD.
I'm able to boot Proxmox where I'm presented with:
"Welcome to Proxmox... Please use your Web browser to configure this server - connect to:
https://xxx.xxx.xxx.x:8006/
I can sign in using user: root and the password. But I can't access the IP Address with my web browser
"
This site can’t be reached
192.168.100.2 took too long to respond.
"
I've tried plugging it into the iDrac port and on NIC1 with no success. I also can't ping the IP on my other computers.
The server is connected directly into my modem/router.
Thanks in advanced
