Hello all,
I intsalled today Proxmox VE on a existing Debian wheezy box and it seems to work. I just wondered about the storage configuration. I have no cluster at the moment I just want to build some virtual Boxes.

I have in the GUI one node as expected and one local storage. The box has a software RAID with LVM and would like to use some of the disk space. At the moment i have no Idea what to do. Can someone give me a pointer about where to read please .

EDIT
I created a diretcory storage in the Datacenter view but it is not shown when I create a container.

Thanks a lot

Stupid Question, but did you add "Container" as Content Type when created the directory storage?
You can also add an existing LVM group on the Datacenter->Storage Tab, but as far as i know this storage is only useable with KVM and not with OpenVZ..

Thanks a lot stif, that solved my immediate problem, even the sorage.cfg appeared out of thin air ....
