I just noticed a new package came up for veeam and veeamsnap from the veeam repository.
Do this mean veeam baremetal backups of proxmox will work again? They stopped working at kernel 5.18 and although from this post says these updates are (already) deprecated despite having just come out, in the veeam release notes for 6.0 say this latest version does fix the problem but requires one install blksnap kernel module.
Before I go installing kernel modules and backing up/restoring my only prodution host, has anyone with a test environment tried updating veeam, installing blksnap then doing a bare metal backup and restore?
I think lots of people would be happy to be able to do baremetal backups given PBS doesn't seem to support that and there does not seem to be anything else out there that can do it.
