New user - 1st setup is a dev-test-learn, will this system be ok?

I have a spare system currently running Win7 with the following spec:
AMD FX-8350 in an ASUS MSA99X-EVO R2 mb
24Gb RAM
USB 2.0 and USB3.0 on mb
250gb HD for host OS
2 x 128gb SATA3 SSD for VM use
I have tested 4 gfx cards installed in it, 3 are UEFI and one is legacy (Quadro NVS 295 running from a X1 PCIe slot)

I'd like to test GPU/USB passthrough while keeping the old Quadro NVS 295 dedicated for local console access only.

Does this sound like it should work?

Does your Mainboard support IOMMU? Usually they do, but there's no guarantee. And if it supports IOMMU, passthrough support can be rather finicky.
If IOMMU is supported by the mainboard, you could probably get passthrough to work, at least on the W5000 and GTX 660.

As PVE is free, there's nothing stopping you from trying it out.

Yes, all good, I got a Win10 vm up and running with the Radeon HD5450 and a USB kb and mouse.
