New to proxmox, have a few problems, please help

Hi there,
I wanted to have a box with windows and a box for webhosting so I got myself a dedicated server with promox on it there I created a virtual machine with cpanel on it and one with windows on it.

With the windows VPS anything is finde, just with the VPS with cpanel on it I have some problems. When I chose eth0 as networking adapter the server isn't reachable all the time, pings look like

And when I put there anything other then that it works but I want to add IPs to my cpanel installation and this only seems to be working when the networking adapter is set to eth0. After a long discussion with the cpanel support they told me I need to assign those IPs via proxmox.
Can anybody explain to me on how to do that? What networking adapter do I need to set at cpanel?

I read through the various documentaries and I didn't find any help or a solution there. I feel lost in this case, please help me.

a view questions:

do you run cpanel as a container (openVZ) or as a KVM guest?

if container, do you use venet or veth?

are you on OVH?

This is running as a KVM guest and yes I should be on OVH
I bought the server guy and he did the setup but he's on vacations now and I can't let the server idle while he's gone so I want to fix the stuff myself.

did you configure the "Virtual MAC" for the IP of the KVM guest via the OVH manager?

As I don't have set up the server I don't really know this, I just saw ovh.net set as domain on my proxmox panel. can i give u access and you take a look at it?
