New storage on PXVE 5

Hey guys,

I add a new disk do my server and i want to crate a new storage for it. I like to use one storage for each disk.

I found this tutorial: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage

But i dont understand what i need to do with the new disk to use a new storage on it.

Hey!

I found this tutorial ( http://proxmoxve.blogspot.com.br/2013/12/how-to-add-extra-storage-in-proxmox-ve.html )and this work, my question is: is that setup ok of use in 5.x?

Why is that? Normally, you'd add storage to a pool and let the pool do the rest including redundancy, distribution of load etc. It that no option for you?

Cause in my server i have HDD and SDD. And each VM i want to run in HDD or at SDD, with 2 storage i just move the disk and the vm works at hdd or ssd.
