Hi,

I just installed a new Samsung NVMe M.2 SSD in my system, but the hard drive is now showing up during installation.
When i run a Windows installation the drive is showing.

What to do?

Maybe the drive is not empty? Try issuing:

fdisk /dev/sdX
d (for delete the partition, even if none exists)
w (to write back to the disk)

Then you should see the disk in your Proxmox gui. I had to do something similar to used disks that I got out of ebay that had some data on them.

Hi ibravo,
The drive is new, i formatted it but it is not showing in the GUI and during installation..

Issue resolved

I needed to install a bios update, next i was able to disable the "Configure Storage Controller for Intel Optane" in the bios.

Thanks!
