New setup

Hello,

let me introduce the situation i'm living in france and i got two house 40 km distance. I got soon 1 Gb/s connection and 600 mb/s up on both of the house.
I wanted to replace my Routers from ISP and use promox to setup different VM Pfsense and my nas. and also a monitoring system like grafana and may be my website.


1st: will i need a special version of promox or just the free use.
2nd: what kind of spec i should aim for. (planning to buy used serveur)
3nd: also a VPN between the two house to share my different file etc

Proxmox VE is licensed under AGPLv3, everything included.

This is up to your needs and wishes.

That should be easily doable with a pfsense or similar.

Yeah i will go for a E5-2680 V2 xeon it should do the trick with 32 gigs of ram will be enough to handle the beast
