New proxmox server and I did a fresh install of Ubuntu in a VM. Two extremely weird things happening now;
1: After proxmox reboots the Ubuntu VM will not boot citing a kernel panic, pic below. Once I roll back to a snapshot it is fine again for many VM reboots and I think everything is happy, until proxmox reboots and the VM panics again.
2. Start at boot setting for this VM refuses to stay on. After rebooting proxmox it will be off again.

This is my first experience with Proxmox, be gentle.

Also; are there VM tools I should be loading somewhere? I'm not finding a way to offer VM tools to the VM.

Followed guides and googled to fix apt-get to do updates on proxmox and now the management web page is fubar. Does not work at all on my chromebook. When I click on things nothing works, literally can't navigate anywhere and things like clicking add VM button don't do anything. Can't get to VM console and it appears my VM isn't running as I can't get to anything on it but console says it is running. Much better success with android firefox on the chromebook. Console connects but just nothing on the screen, black. Multiple stop, start and resets still gets nothing on the screen. Literally can't believe how bad this is. I had zero issues setting up ESXi on another machine, was really hoping to have a good experience with proxmox but I guess not. I hope this isn't normal?
