New install needs upgrading 5 to 6

Hello everybody, first time caller...

I haven't used PVE before and for complex reasons (no DVD!) I've had to install PVE 5 (5.4-3 I believe). Obviously I'd like to get up to date with version 6.

I think the instructions for upgrading are clear, but I'd like to check a couple of points.

Firstly, as I don't yet have a subscription - this is a test server, let's see how I get on and then I'll pay! - I need to change the package repository to 'no subscription'. I think that's easy enough. But maybe I already have the latest version 5 so I don't need to bother at this point?

The pve5to6 script needs to be run but so far I failed. What are the exact commands to run this?

I don't have a cluster, do I need to update to Corosync 3 anyway?

Basically this is a clean fresh install from the version 5 iso so any tips and advice to get to 6 appreciated. Yes, using the version 6 iso would be the easy way but it needs a DVD not a CD and I don't have one.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I just followed the instructions at http://proxmoxve.blogspot.com/2019/07/updating-proxmox-5x-to-6x-no.html which seemed to have worked. Here's my result, any obvious errors?
