Please bear with me, seasoned Network, Storage, VMWare, windows guy, absolute Linux rookie (no excuse).

New install, server shows both interfaces down, switch shows at up and linked @ 1000/fdx.

No ICMP response from VME to LAN or WAN.
No ICMP response from LAN to VME
Nothing in the ARP table of the switch

Intel X540 NIC

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ps. Yes I rebooted and reset the network config.

Any idea why the install wouldn't create that or how I go about creating it?

Just edit the file and change eth0 to eth1 eno1, which ever one works for you.

No, I dont know how it was installed, what has changed (kernel update?) or what you may have changed. Its an easy fix.

IDK, fresh install from the latest ISO download. My first time installing/running it.

I'm assuming I edit some config file with vi?
