Networking Problem Rootserver with VM

Hello anybody i comes from germany and i try to write english to order help for my problem...

Description..
i have a Rootserver by Hetzner and on this i have correctly installed proxmox.
i uploaded a iso as image for a vm the iso is debian 8 now i dont understand the network config id did not chance the conf files i watched youtube videos but nothing works,..


how can i do that the VM with plesk is aviable from any ip if i change the networking settings for the VM to NAT Then the VM can use the internet.. but i cannot connect to the vm per Inetip
sry for my bad englisch i comes from germany..

Can you understand my Problem ?
example The VM Connects to the Internet but when i type the ip of the main root on my home pc i cant connect to the VM on the Mainroot

If I understand you correctly, you want to connect a VM directly to the internet and others should access this machine directly.

Without any port redirection magic, you need two IPs for this. Do you have two IPs?

i dont have another IP now . The another IP is in Order! exist an another method ?

I think the Network config of proxmox are very complex for me i dont understand this
any videos on youtube dont help me..

i need help to setup Proxmox without netword errors.. i stay for these problem 1-3 days without an result

Hi,

You can use a routed or a nated model.
But i think in your case routed is better.

Proxmox runs on the mainroot and i create a vm in proxmox with debian 8 on the vm runs apache2 with plesk...
What must i do to connect to the VM from external IP ? i have the following IPs Ordered 144.76.8.163 and 144.76.8.166
can you give an example ?

Create a bridged network, yet it should be there if you installed via ordinary Proxmox installer. Set the IP in the VM manually and you're good to go. This setup is the default in Proxmox and should work out of the box.

Most of the people here are native german speakers, so being german is no excuse for bad english. If you don't want to write here, please buy a higher-level proxmox subscription and let them fix your problem.

The Vm should be connected to the Internet but i should connect to the vm from external IP .. You Know?
