Networking issue - Cannot get over 100mbit

Hi all

Got a very interesting issue. I have VE 1.6 running on a Dell R910 connected to a gigabit dell switch. Each linux guest is setup with a e1000 card.

I can however not seem to be able to get more than 100mbits speed over it. It connects at 1GB/s. But cannot get over 10mbytes/sec from guest to guest or guest to another host.

Any ideas on what the problem could be. Let me know if you need any other details. Not sure what else to add.

in any case, update to the latest version, see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Downloads#Update_a_running_Proxmox_Virtual_Environment_to_1.9

and for best performance, use virtio NIC´s. if you do not succeed, provide more details about your guest and settings, provide benchmark results (iperf).
