Network issues with nested Proxmox

Hi All,

I'm experiencing a strange issue with Proxmox 6.2-4 installed as a guest on Proxmox 6.1-8.

On the same Proxmox host (6.1-8) there is a pfSense with the public IP.
The two Proxmox are on the LAN of pfSense.

I reach without problems the Proxmox host (6.1-8) configuring NAT on pfSense:
public Ip:port 8006 ---> Proxmox Ip:port 8006

I've set another NAT to reach the nested Proxmox (6.2-4) with:
public Ip:port 8001 ---> Proxmox Ip:port 8006

As soon I set this second NAT on pfSense, the both Proxmox become unreachable on the WEB UI, even if SSH (set on other two NAT) works properly on both.

Thank you for any help!

Hi,

this is a pfsense problem and not related to Proxmox VE.

Generally, I would do this with HA-Proxy and not with a port forwarding.
