I migrated the VM Ubuntu image using the proxmox convert command and after that host machine Network is unreachable.

I'm getting the following error message with Network Status:
failed to open statefile /run/network/ifstate

I tried the following methods but no luck so far:
- Removed current network adapter and added new one
- added static IP manually
- added two nic adapters
- ifconfig -a < I can see ens18 mac address only, no IP address. ens18 is up.

I created a test Ubuntu VM but the internet is working for that VM. I've Proxmox 7.0.8.

I followed this video to complete this migration.

hi,

can you post the VM config of the non-working and the working ubuntu VMs? qm config VMID

Kindly note this issue is now resolved.

how was it resolved? it's good to explain it in case someone else runs into the same problem. that way when they search the forum they will find a solution instead of the same question :)
