Network interruption during backup

Hello

When I start a backup and chose Snapshot as backup-mode, the VM should not be offline during the backup.
But there is a little network outage during the backup. See this picture:


Is this a bug?

Are you using KVM?

I have the same issue (but it happens all the time, not just during backup). There are a number of bug reports on this and a patch was made in Ubuntu to fix this in qemu-kvm: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/997978 . I'm pretty sure it was pushed upstream to Debian but I can't see in the change log of pve-qemu-kvm that it's been applied. Can someone confirm that this patch has made it into Proxmox? It currently makes proxmox unusable for KVM (if we are experiencing the same bug and it's not patched). If Proxmox has been patched then I guess it's time to open another bug report.
