This is my first install of Proxmox on a Dell 7820 server with a 4 x 1Gb pci nic card. I ran the installer for Proxmox and assigned ip/gateway addressing to match my network. On boot up of the installer I can see that the on board nic recieved a DHCP address that was overwritten with the manual address entered during startup. The installer ran and the machine booted up, but I can not ping the server. Below is the output of the show ip address and nano etc/network/interfaces commands.
