I have no network connections to the host. However I can not find anything wrong with the network configuration. Host can not ping anything.
Any idea's? Thanks.

check ip a and the output of cat /etc/network/interfaces maybe the major upgrade (debian 10 -> debian 11) changed some of your nics regarding their names. If so, edit /etc/network/interfaces so it fits the new name(s).

it did not change the names. I compared it to a non upgraded node and it looks the same. My servers are identical.
The networking service was disabled, but even after enabling and rebooting they are still down.
When I manually bring them up they still don't work. I went through the attached thread and none of the suggestions have worked.

My servers are currently connected with two bonds w/ 2 nic's each, plus a 10 gig single nic connected for a dedicated network for migrating/backups. The bonds are connected to a cisco switch w/LACP enabled on the ports.

Todays new item, the nodes that have not been upgraded yet, I can not open the management gui any more. Fails to connect. This worked fine until a couple of hours ago. No work has been done on the switches or firewall.

This is how it usually happens. I make a post and then figure out what I did wrong.
In the link above there is the following in a post:

"In the /etc/network/interfaces the following statement appears on the servers that were not working anymore after upgrading to 7.0

auto eno1
iface eno1 inet manual

auto eno2
iface eno2 inet manual

auto eno3
iface eno3 inet manual

auto eno4
iface eno4 inet manual

After deleting them it worked again. Checked it on both not working servers..."

I read this as to delete all the auto's from the interfaces file, this was wrong. Only delete them from the built in nic's. In my case the 4 listed eno1 through eno4.

Everything on this node works now!

Joy!

I had this undo everything I did today during a reboot of one node. Is this normal that the interfaces file is over written?
