Hello, I just restarted by Proxmox VE machine to apply a new kernel command line option (cpufreq.default_governor=powersave, not sure if that matters).
Before the reboot my ethernet card was called enp3s0. After the reboot the host didn't come up in the network so I connected keyboard and screen to investigate and I discovered that during that boot the network card got assigned the enp4s0 name.
I then rebooted again and it got back the usual enp3s0 name.
Is there any way I can diagnose why the network name isn't stable across boots?
