I want to test an Azure HCI cluster in proxmos, for which I have created two virtual machines in proxmox and I have installed Azure hci on them. These virtual machines have a network card that works correctly, but when I go to create an Azure HCI cluster, it tells me that the network adapter driver is not supported for use with Azure Stack HCI.

Inbox drivers are not supported for use with Azure Stack HCI. To identify if your adapter is using an inbox driver, run the following cmdlet. An adapter is using an inbox driver if the DriverProvider property is Microsoft.

In the virtual machine I have tried with the 4 types of network devices: VirtIO, Intel E1000, Realtek and vmware vmxnet3 , but it has not worked for me. Do you know how to fix it?

Thank you

Hello Angelcj,
I guess I'm also having the same problem. Did you manage to solve it somehow?

I'm also building an AzureStack HCI cluster in Proxmox VMs. I too was stumped by the "Inbox Drivers" problem. I wasn't able to solve it with either Intel adapter options or the vmxnet, RealTek adapter.

I was able to solve it with the VirtIO ethernet adapter and driver. AzureStack HCI VMs now pass this test.
