I already have Netdata running on my homelab servers except for my PBS server. Has anyone installed Netdata on their backup server and were there any special considerations?

I would suggest to try it out in a seperate PBS instance (e.g. installed into a VM). Generally speaking, all monitoring agents and monitoring programs normally don't interfere with any other programs unless they're using some kind of kernel module for inspecting what's going on or blocking access. For PBS, the general or if available debian specific agent or setup should work fine. I don't know if netdata provides probes / sensors for PBS directly.
