Netconsole logging works, but stops at NIC enabling

I'm trying to troubleshooting my host which keeps shutting down. I could not get kdump to install and work properly due to errors regarding ELF parsing, so I am trying netconsole.

Port 5555 is up on a remote device, and listening, and the log is filling with posts when the host is booting. I selected to use the NIC which I use for management access to Proxmox. There is a laptop and another server on that network. I'm using the server to capture netconsole logging.

I get this, and then it stops:
[ 21.007392] audit: type=1400 audit(1534765717.488:2): apparmor="STATUS" operation="profile_load" profile="unconfined" name="/usr/bin/lxc-start" pid=1018 comm="apparmor_parser"

[ 21.390079] vmbr0: port 1(enp3s0) entered disabled state

enp3s0 is the NIC through which I'm sending the logging. Unfortunately, it stops logging here and then when the host crashes, there is no output.

My host grub line: netconsole=5555@192.168.1.42/enp3s0,5555@192.168.1.2/00:0c:f1:e2:da:24 loglevel=7

And I followed this: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Kernel_Crash_Trace_Log

I'm not sure what to try next and need help.
