Good day, I is 2 servers (install proxmox) and storage netapp. They are connected by sas cable. I have a disk pool configured on my netapp and I want to connect it to both servers but I can not figure out how to do it correctly. Installed as a directory but the server does not see each other's virtual machines. help me pls

You will never ever connect SAS cables from NetApp to hosts. You will create Aggregates and Volumes and maybe LUNs on the NetApp Controllers/Cluster.

Is this a 7mode oder cdot ONTAP?

The best would be export with NFS und mount the NFS share on both nodes. Then you have snapshots depening on the snap schedule configuration.

Ah ok the E-Series.

Then you need to connect the servers with FC. Do you have FC switches? You need to create an LUN to access to the data.

The E-Series is a fast block-only storage and very different to the FAS systems.

I do not have FC switches. LUN and Volumes created. I was recommended SAS сonnection for two hosts. I have a problem in that the connected drive is not shared for both hosts. The first host has its own files, and the second one own files. but the same disk space

no. Did on this document. Now the problem has changed, the data for the second host can be seen only after remounting. But I not configure multipath
