I used to have qemu working in eve-ng. But now eve-ng cant see that kvm acceleration is active. Do I need to change CPU settings with proxmox 6.0 `?

What CPU type to you use? Set it to "host" to ensure the "VMX" or "SVM" (depending on Intel vs AMD) flag gets propagated to the VM.

That flag cannot be set for other CPU types via gui yet.

You do not need any AES flag, that's for encryption not nested virtualization...

I didn't meant the PVE host CPU, but the CPU type of the VM, set it to "host" then the full flags of the host will be passed to the VM, including nested virtualization.
