I am trying to migrate a 120gb windows raw vm disk from one local storage to another storage on a single Proxmox host 8.3.4. The issue is that we have some accounting software which is licensed based on the machine parameters (ram size; disk; cpu; nic). I tried to migrate the disk (with the move storage option from the GUI) but it seems the raw disk file is recreated and the software detects it as changed hence the software license breaks. Is there another way to actually move the same disk without changing any parameters on it?
