Hey, I had a really confusing problem that I can't get passed. I did some research and it seems almost impossible to get passed. I'd like to install proxmox and everything such as iso's and vm's and all that on the same drive. I have a raid controller card that raids 3-4 of my hard drives into one. I don't feel like going through it and separating them, therefore I'm asking if it is possible to just have everything installed on the same drive. I can't seem. If possible, I'd appreciate step by step solutions, since I'm brand new to Proxmox, I have really no idea what im doing .
Please help,
Thanks.

Hey,

what is the problem? Could you install PVE and does it boot?

I installed it just fine.

The only problem is that I cannot run any VM's on my machine with just one drive. Atleast I don't know how to with just one hard drive.

Did you install it from an ISO or on an existing system? Usually, having just one drive shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, nevermind, I figured out the problem. Apparently I was for some reason attempting to make a ZFS drive with just one drive with proxmox installed on it. That was extremely foolish of me. My bad. Everything works. I don't even know why I wanted to do that. That was interesting.

Thanks for replying though.
