[SOLVED] Need Help! Cannot access web interface

i was curious. so i tried to install a new server. this problem does not exist when i tried to install a new server since the IP of the server was assigned from DHCP. BUTTTTTT..
Just a heads up - while using DHCP for the Proxmox VE server itself works, this is generally not recommended. Dynamic IP assignment (and thus maybe changing IPs every now and then) does not make sense for servers in general.

since everyone is pointing on the browser, i then tried to find solution online and stumbled upon this trick. disabling the SSL certification in firefox. and voila! the web UI shows!!!
Glad it works now! SSL certificates can be a bit a PITA sometimes.
If you want to setup certificates for you node properly, here is our documentation for that.

I understand. but at first i can't access the web UI at all if i set the IP manually

Hello, i have the same issue of unable to access the proxmox web interface. I tried almost all the steps above but everything seems fine, no error. See attached screenshot of the error i receive when i try to access the web. i've been on this case for like almost a week now, reinstall after an install, but still nothing.

Judging from the screenshot, your issue is not the same at all. Please open the a new thread, post the results of the steps you tried and actual configuration and running state of your system, not just generic browser error.
