Need advice: additional disk to the current setup

Hello, can someone advice please what we should do

Setup: 2 SSDs in ZFS pool (RAID1)
Task: we need to add new separate HDD to store historical data on VM

Which way we should add this HDD into proxmox? It should be new ZFS pool?

Jep, if you want ZFS then a new pool would be recommended. But keep in mind that ZFS features like bit rot protection won't work without redundancy if you just add a single HDD.
