Native DHCP server

Hello,

there is any plan to implement DHCP for KVM VMs?

I mean, when you install the ISO of an operating system on a VM, when configuring the network, that the user can choose the DHCP option instead of defining the values by hand.

The possibility of being able to define IPs directly from the Proxmox/API interface. Just like with Cloud-init or containers.

That looks workable, but somewhat tedious, since Proxmox doesn't seem to want to hand out a bunch of consecutive MAC addresses. Or is there a way to do that?

(Or even just have Proxmox assign from a pool of fixed MAC addresses which I can use to generate my DHCP config.)

My scenario was a bit complicated ( https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/bonded-vlan-dhcp-guest-networking-example.50699/ ), but I found the dnsmasq program's DHCP running on the same server as Proxmox to be effective. Maybe people could come up with example configurations for other scenarios.
