I wish to migrate my SQL Server for Linux VM's from VMware to Proxmox. In VMWare, we had multiple virtual SCSi controllers, with a single drive to each. This is the recommended approach for SQL Server. However, in Proxmox, I cannot find a way to add multiple VirtualBox controllers and assign a single drive to each one. Is this possible and how and I achieve it?

Use VirtIO SCSI single. This will create a QEMU thread for each disk you attach to the SCSI drive. Also remember to tick "I/O thread" so disk iops won't block other QEMU thread(s) for their duration.
