Multiple exchange integration

Hello,

We want to integrate Proxmox Mail GW 4 exchanges that we use in our company. But we can only enter 1 (Exchange) IP in the relay section. How can I enter more than one Exchange?

hello,

to help you, you should provide a little more information.
For example, the Exchange servers are responsible for specific domains and so on.
I serve 5 mail servers and about 60 domains with the gateway.
But as mentioned above, we should know what you are up to!

What we actually want,

Through a single proxmox,

Server 2019 / Exchange 2019 192.168.2.5 / 1 domain
Server 2019 / Exchange 2019 192.168.2.6 / 5 domains
Server 2019 / Exchange 2019 192.168.2.7 / 7 domains
there are 3 more of them.

I want to manage these three machines in a single proxmox. How can I do this? (The main reason for this question is that I can only enter 1 IP under the Relay tab)

If you are using the gateway for the first time, I strongly recommend that you take a look at the How To's here in the forum and also the instructions for the gateway, which are very good and detailed.

but to your problem:

you mean the default relay? in the first menu item “Relaying”? If so, leave everything there as it was (Default Settings).

What you have to do is enter all domains for which the gateway should be responsible under “Relay Domains”.
Then go to the menu item “Networks” and enter all the IP addresses of the Exchange servers.
These then appear at the bottom under “Trusted Network”.
Then switch to the menu item “Transport” and specify which domain should be routed to which Exchange server.

You must configure the Exchange servers separately.
As a tip: make sure that the Exchange server only accepts mails that come via the gateway.
