As subject, I think to have mtu parameters on Gui can help a lot of users to solve performance problems with network storage.
I've separated networks with differents mtu to SAN (7980), backup storage (9000), internet (1500).
Do you have any benchmarks of the storage performance problem this can solve ?
Last time I checked a MTU of 9000 would provide a 5-10% performance over ISCSI when using 8k transfer blocks, and a lot of configuration headaches.
