Moving VM's from pve 3.4 to 4.4

Hello,

I'm currently running an ovh server with proxmox 3.4 on it.
There are a few vm's (mostly windows/debian kvm) which I want to copy over to my new server which is running the latest proxmox version 4.4.
Which is the best way to do this?

via backup/restore.

but do not forget to adapt your network settings before you power on your VM´s (also the OVH specific virtual nics).
