My OMV VM recently corrupted and I can no longer login through the web gui. With that being said, I am just going to make another version of the same system. Is it possible to take the storage hard drive that was attached to the previous one, and move it to the new one without losing any of the data stored on the storage?

note, the storage I want to move is not the same storage that was used for the system/OS. It was attached separately after the VM was created.

Ill see if I can use the information in this walkthrough to make this work.

To try to clarify more, I am just trying to take a storage what was attached to my crashed OMV VM, and move it to a new OMV VM, without losing the data thats on the disk. I'm not trying to move over the hard disk that has the OS on it, in an attempt to clone the previous machine. I am just wanting to move the attached 25TB of storage from that machine to the new one, without losing the data on the storage.
