We are planing to migrate all of our existing VMware VMs (~50 on ESXi & ~15 on Workstation Pro) to a new Proxmox environment. Before building up a test environment, we'd like to be prepared in theory.
There are a lot of documentations to move VMs from ESXi/Workstation to Proxmox - this looks straight forward. What I didn't find: What's the best way to move a f.e. VMware Workstation Pro Win 11 machine with enabled TPM? Is it just like a VM without TPM? This can't be, right? How can I smoothly move this VM over to Proxmox?

I would think that a (virtual) TPM would prevent moving a VM, just as it would prevent moving a Windows from one hardware system to another. Can you migrate a (virtual) TPM state or disable it maybe or somehow tell WIndows it is fine?
