Move KVM image from one storage to another

Hello!

On a proxmox server (version 2.2-31/e94e95e9) I've two storage:

local with path target /var/lib/vz
sata with path target /data

I have a KVM VM (id 101) that i want to move from "local" storage to "sata" storage.

May I easly do that moving the 101 directory from /var/lib/vz/images to /data/images/ ?

Or some thing will break?

yes, that works. but do not forget to adapt the VMID.conf of this VM.

btw, if you upgrade to latest 3.1, moving disks is integrated in the GUI.
