Move doesn't move

So I am trying to move CT and VM drives off of my ZFS to a NFS share. However it is giving me the most annoying error message.
I tell it to move the drive and delete the original. It shows it's on my NFS sharelocation.PNG
However, when I go to delete it (which it should've done when I "moved" it), PVE gives me the following errorError.PNG
1. What's broken in this process?
2. How do I remove a disk that the UI tells me isn't attached?
3. How do I move them?

My guess is to make sure that it doesn't in fact exist on the disk....
And to edit the config to set the disk as unused.

Hi,
you can use qm rescan --vmid 115 to scan for such orphaned disks. They should be added as unused disks to the VM. Then you can delete them from the hardware pane.

Just to make sure, did you select the Delete source checkbox when moving? Was there an error for the Move disk task (double click on the entry in the bottom panel of the GUI to see the log)?

this worked, but I'm having the same issue with LXC containers as well. Do you know what that command is?

Yes I do, just to avoid this error, which is why it's so annoying when I try to migrate the VM/LXC to a different node and get the error about it being on the local disk.

Yes, pct rescan.

There should be a warning in the original Move disk task that might hint at why it failed to delete the original disk.
