Hi everybody, i'm running PVE 6.4-6 (new server ordered so hopefully will be migrating soon and updating to a newer version)

So I've got a Win10 VM, automatically boots into a gaming server via a batch file in the startup folder.

Recently, it hasn't been auto starting.. but I would manually start it when I logged into console. This happened for a few days maybe a week and I was so busy I didn't really give it a second thought.

Now, I've lost access to my mouse! Keyboard still works but mouse refuses. I dunno if you've tried keyboard commands and shortcuts in a VM lately.. it's certainly isn't easy.

So I've got this Intel USB device driver (from 2006) that could be the culprit.. Windows says it's disabled it due to a problem. It's really hard to try and find out exactly what that problem is only using a keyboard.

Anybody got any suggestions please?

can you post the vm config (qm config ID) and the versions please (pveversion -v)

Weirdly enough, I logged in from my laptop today, manually started the VM and the mouse is working again!

Admittedly the batch file still isn't working, but at least with a pointing device I can investigate that.

The age old comment of "Have you tried restarting the device" seems to apply!! o_O

Solved, thanks.
