mount point in a running system

Hello forum
You can add a new mountpoint while the system is running. why can't you remove a mountpoint from a running system? As a test, I even made the mount point readonly so that no files could be open. A system restart is not wanted because i don't want any downtime.

What commands did you run to determine that the path in question is mountpoint?
What commands did you run to unmount it and what errors did you receive?

I used the webinterface on > ressources > add > Mount Point > unhook
After i did that there is this orange text:


After a restart it looks like this and i can remove the mountpoint:


But i have downtime, beacause i restartet the System.
