Mount LV for NFS share

I have Proxmox installed on a 1.8TB SSD as below and wish to use the 1.7TB available space to NFS share media files to Nextcloud and Plex containers.
I don't see how to mount the LV named data in order to share it with NFS.

Do I need to shrink the sda3 partition and create a separate ext4 (or other type) partition (sda4) and share that with NFS or is there another way to mount and then share the sda3 disk space?

That 'data' lv isn't an actual volume you can use. It represents the entire thin pool covering the VM disks.
You can create a new lv inside that pool, format it and mount it somewhere, but be aware that when using thin provisioning it's possible to overprovision and if you do that and run out of space things break.
I'd recommend not using up the entire thin pool at once, but feel free to adjust the numbers, and create a volume via:
# lvcreate -V 1T -n nfs-share --thinpool data pve
You can then make a file system on /dev/pve/nfs-share and mount & export it normally

I am fairly new to Proxmox and lvm's. Is this a bit of an unconventional setup? Would I be better off shrinking sda3 and creating a new sda4 partition?
I guess the same issue applies if I run out of space.
