More than 3.5Gb/s on VM/CT?

As the title implies, I've been trying to break 3.5Gb/s with VM's & LXC's, on a 10Gbe setup

I have a NAS(Unraid), running on the same network/switch, using the same NIC's, showing close to theoretical max(9.XGb/s)
Though for unknown reason, I can't seem to break 3.5-3.7Gb/s barrier on any Promox machines or otherwise.

MTU: 9014, across NIC/Switch, etc
Multiqueue: 4 or 8 respectively

All ideas and/or suggestions welcomed

PS, has anyone found success running Promox VM's on 10Gbe?
