Modularserver and shared HD

I put a extra HD in our Modular Server for backup.
The HD is assigned for both server (we have shared LUN Key).
On each proxmox server the HD is mounted on /backup.
Directory /backup is shared on proxmox.
When first proxmox server is doing a backup on that disk the
files are nor visible on the other server.

Is it a bug or does that configuration not work?

you cannot access the same disk/filesystem from several servers, this will lead to a file system corruption and data loss (or you need GFS or OCFS, cluster file systems).
what file system do you use?

I suggest you use NFS for this, see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Intel_Modular_Server#Backup_Store
