Missing Packages

Hello everyone!

I installed proxmox and created some VMs.

I created some based on Debian, Ubuntu and even Windows.

But I noticed that when installing Ubuntu/Debian Cloud Images, they don't enable the same console functions (and I also can't copy and paste or resize the window in them)

In the VMs that I used Iso and in Windows this does not happen. (see the attached images)

What packages should I install on cloud VMs to resolve this? (I've already checked that qemu-guest-agent is installed and started)

AFAIK, the xterm.js console appears if you configured a serial console inside of your guest VM. Please check if you tailscale VM has a serial terminal configured or not. If so and if you want to have this on your Ubuntu VM too, configure a serial console there too and stop and start the VM. The xterm.js should then appear.

On the VM tailscale console is enabled. I enabled it on the Ubuntu VM and the xterm option actually appeared. But not the spice one.

Anyway, I find it strange because I can't copy/paste into NoVNC on the Ubuntu VM (cloud images), and I can on the others.

Which leads me to believe that it is either some VM configuration or some package that is missing.

I try to change the display to spice and install the agent but the same problem

I also tried installing the agent and applying the command in pve according to the documentation you sent me but it didn't work.

I also noticed that in addition to not copying and pasting, VMs with cloud image do not resize the window, and the resolution is very different from those that work. (see images)
