Apparently the PROXMOX-VE 7.02 does not have these drivers:
Ethernet RTL 8168
How do I add them to the .ISO (and make my USB)? AS the .ISO creates a dd formatted drive. Under Windows, I cannot see where to put this file/package:
apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-`uname -r` r8168-dkms
It is odd that the installer sees the controller - but by the time it gets to the end and reboots...the lights on the NIC (It is onboard to the system motherboard) will be OFF and once the reboot occurs and I login at the console (and do an 'ip a' ) - I see the enp2s0 listed and the vbr01 with the sane MAC Address and I have a DHCP RSVP to give that MAC the address 192.168.10.252 -- and the vbr01 has this address, the message after reboot says to use https://192.168.10.252:8006/ to access web page - but that address does not even ping.
