I had this PVE box working before I moved it to my Dad's house but I haven't had a chance to properly install it there yet, so I brought it home yesterday to update it.
I tried to run a backup job before doing the update, but for a lot of the CTs the backup fails with this error:
I tried booting into the 6.8.12-11-pve kernel but 'modprobe dm-snapshot' shows that it isn't available there either 'modprobe: FATAL: Module dm-snapshot not found in directory /lib/modules/6.8.12-11-pve' and my VMs and CTs also failed to start with that kernel.
I only have one VM and the error for that was
I checked in the BIOS and virtualisation and VT-d is enabled.
For the CTs the error is
EDIT: If I boot into the 6.5.13-6-pve kernel, modprobe dm-snapshot doesn't return any errors (or anything else), the VMs and CTs start fine, and the backup job runs without any errors. I don't know why I have these problems with the more recent kernels, but I'll do the update to PVE 9 and hopefully I won't run into them again.
